Jasikan is a town in the Jasikan District of the Volta Region of Ghana. It is the capital of the Jasikan District and lies 260 kilometres north-east of Accra, the capital of Ghana.[1] Jasikan was the only urban area in the district around 1970. Since the 1984 populations census however, it has been one out of three urban centres.[2]
