Janne Kristiansen

Janne Kristiansen (born 21 November 1952) is a Norwegian jurist.

She worked as a public defender in Borgarting Court of Appeal from 1986 and Moss District Court from 1990. From 2004 to 2009 she led the Norwegian Criminal Cases Review Commission.[1] In 2009 she was asked by the Minister of Justice Knut Storberget to apply for the position as director of the Norwegian Police Security Service. There were three other applicants.[2] She was appointed in October 2009, effective from November. In the intermittent month, Roger Berg was acting director.[3]
