Janet Alison Whitaker, Baroness Whitaker (b. February 20, 1936) is a British politician (Labour).

In June 1999, she was included in Tony Blairs's new list of working peers and was created the Life Peer Baroness Whitaker.[1] Chairwoman of the Working Men's College Corporation 1999 to 2002. She is also Vice-President of the British Humanist Association[1].
