Jane Fallon

Jane Fallon (born 9 December 1960) is the author of four bestselling novels - Getting Rid of Matthew (which reached number 7 in the Nielsen Bookscan Fiction Top 10 in 2007), Got You Back (number 5 in 2008), Foursome (number 8 in 2010) and The Ugly Sister (number 2 in 2011). She is a former television producer most famous for her work on popular series Teachers, 20 Things To Do Before You're 30, Eastenders and This Life. Her books have sold over 600,000 copies in the UK and have been translated into over 20 languages.In 2011 'Foursome' was nominated for the Melissa Nathan Award for Romantic Comedy Fiction.

Personal life

Fallon has been in a relationship with comedian Ricky Gervais since 1982; they met while both studying at University College London.[1] The couple have lived together since 1984 and are based in North London.[2] They have a cat called Ollie.[3]
