James Rowe (born 21 october 1991) is an English Professional footballer who is currently with Conference National side Forest Green Rovers.
James Rowe joined Reading from fellow Championship side Southampton in the summer of 2008.[1][2]
Rowe did not make an appearance for Reading but had several loan spells with various clubs including Basingstoke Town in November 2009,[3] and Lewes in January 2011 on an initial one month deal.[4] He has also made many appearances for Reading's reserves.[5] On June 2 Rowe's contract was not renewed .[6]
Following successful pre-season trials, James signed a two year deal with Blue Square Bet Premier club Forest Green Rovers on Aug 2.[7]
Rowe made his senior league debut for Forest Green Rovers on 12 August 2011, helping them to their first point of the season against recently relegated Stockport County. His assist from a free kick was headed in on 21 minutes by Reece Styche.
