James Huang is a film and television actor and producer/director.[1]

Career

James has been acting professionally since graduating from Rutgers University, where he majored in theater and cinema. He has worked in several areas of film, television, commercials and print modeling.

He has appeared in shows such as Lost, The Unit, Shark, Las Vegas, NCIS and Law & Order, the FX series Boldly Going Nowhere, Private Practice and a recurring part in the ABC drama, Women's Murder Club as Officer Sam Cho. He has also appeared in sitcoms including Will & Grace and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Appearances in feature films include the DreamWorks feature film, Eagle Eye, the Disney/Bruckheimer feature film G-Force. James also appeared as a soldier in the 2010 alien invasion film called "Skyline" and a 2011 episode of "Law & Order: Los Angeles". James recently recurred on the TNT drama "Rizzoli & Isles", season 2.

As a director and producer, he won a Prism Award in 2007 for the MTV documentary True Life: I'm Addicted to Crystal Meth.[2] He has written, produced and directed independent films that have played in festivals across the country. His most recent film is a romantic comedy called "Starting from Scratch" (2012) which he also wrote and directed and stars along with Elizabeth Sandy.

As a model, he has appeared in print ads and commercials ranging from the UPS man to a Mervyns clothing model. In 2011, he appeared in several commercials including Comcast/ Xfinity and Bank of America.
