Jaga
Jaga may refer to several different things:
- Jaga (kingdom) in present-day Africa, also known as Kasanje, whose people were the Imbangala and often confused with the Yaka further north.
- Jaga (king), the title of an Imbangala king, especially those of the Imbangala state of Kasanje.
- Jaga (Rajasthan), a social caste of genealogists in Rajasthan, India.
- Jaga (Muslim caste), a Muslim community in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
- Jaga (Kongo), two similar but distinct bands of warriors encountered by the Portuguese in the 16th and 17th centuries in the African kingdom of Kongo.
- JAGA (API), an open source API for implementing genetic algorithms and genetic programming in Java.
