Jack David "2fish" Fischer is an American test pilot and a NASA astronaut.[1] Fischer was selected in June 2009 as a member of the NASA Astronaut Group 20 and qualified as an astronaut in 2011.

Biography

Fischer is a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He has been a U.S. Air Force Test Pilot, and considers Louisville, Colorado his hometown. Fischer is a 1992 graduate of Centaurus High School, a 1996 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, 1998 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and 2004 graduate of the United States Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base, California.[2] His call sign as a pilot is 2fish.
