Jérémie Carboni is a French director, screenwriter, actor and producer. He was born on December 28, 1980, in Châtenay-Malabry, France. He is the founder of Zerkalo production in 2008.[1]

He lived in a lot of country : France, Greece, Hungary and also in Italy for six years where he attended le Lycée français Chateaubriand (Rome) before entering at the National Fine Arts Academy. He graduated in cinema filmmaking and he also studied Political sciences for a while.[2] He was assistant of Michelangelo Antonioni's producers : Stéphane Tchalgadjieff and Danièle Gégauff.[3] He began as a director for some ex-singers of the French reality television show : Star Academy.[4] He made music video for Cynthia Brown[5] and Dominique Fidanza (Star Academy season 6) and he directed "Bartleby en coulisses" with the French writer Daniel Pennac in 2010[6] (and a film on the tour : Escapade romaine). Between 2008 and 2011, he shot a documentary for cinema and TV on the founders of Musique concrète (or acousmatic music) starring Pierre Henry, François Bayle, Christian Zanési.[7] In October 2011, he has been shooting a new film on French stylists Marithé François Girbaud.[8] He wrote three new scripts for cinema.[9]
