Itransition is a software development company founded in Minsk, Belarus in 1998. At present the company has representative offices in North America[2] (Canada, Europe (UK, Estonia[3], Netherlands) and Asia (Japan) and development centers in Eastern Europe (Minsk, Belarus). The company is a founding member of INFOPARK[4] and Belarussian High Tech Park.[5]

Itransition is also a member of Russoft[6] - a professional association of software companies of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and is a valued member, an actively participation of research studies by this organization, including the Fourth Annual Survey on Russian export market of software products, services and solutionssurvey.

Its history started with a specialized IT outsourcing division of 10 employees as part of a leading Belarusian IT holding. A year later, in 1999 a dedicated Java Development Department was formed. The first Java project was implemented for a German bank. At the turn of the century the company experienced fast and stable growth. QA and Web Development Departments were founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. .NET development services for C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET projects were introduced in 2002. In 2003 Itransition started to provide Project Rescue, Modernization and Reverse Engineering services. When in 2004 Itransition acquired an embedded services company, it founded an Embedded Development Department (C, C++, and Embedded Linux as its core expertise). In 2005-2006 representative offices were set up in Switzerland and Canada. In 2006-2007, following the tendencies of IT industry development, the company introduced VoIP and media streaming development services, and opened a SAP Development Department. In 2007 and 2008 Itransition was distinguished as Global Outsourcing 100 Rising Star[7] and with CIO 100 awards, and featured in Software 500[8] companies list. The company also received European IT Excellence Award[9] in 2007 for its outstanding solution for healthcare industry.

Itransition provides enterprise solutions development (including enterprise content management systems (ECM) and document management systems (DMS) development), web portal development, embedded software development with the technology focus on .NET, Java EE, PHP, Oracle and MySQL.

In 2008 Itransition became Microsoft Certified Partner[10] and SAP Service Partner[11], two events which allowed the company to extend its services offer and enter new markets.
