Israel–Serbia relations are foreign relations between Israel and Serbia.

Israel has an embassy in Belgrade. Serbia has an embassy in Tel Aviv. The bilateral relations between Israel and Serbia's predecessor state, SFR Yugoslavia, were severed for 25 years, from 1967 until October 9, 1991, when they were officially renewed.

However, at the time of renewal of relations, Yugoslavia was in the process of disintegration, following the secession of several of its former constituent republics. Diplomatic relations continued following the formation, on 28 April, 1992, of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia by the two remaining Yugoslav republics, Serbia (including Kosovo) and Montenegro. This was renamed the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro on February 4, 2003. On June 3, 2006, Montenegro withdrew from the Union. On 17 February, 2008, Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence, which is opposed by Serbia. Israel has not recognised the independence of the province.

On 28 April 2009, Arthur Koll, the Israeli ambassador to Serbia, stated it had been more than a year since Kosovo's unilaterally declaration of independence and that Israel had no intention of recognizing that independence and that:

"Israel is asked from time to time how solid this decision is, but the fact is that Israel's position has not changed throughout this time. The Serbian people and government should appreciate Israel's position, which also demonstrates the friendship between the two states".[1][2]

In September 2009, a visit to Serbia by Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman prompted the abolition of visa restrictions between the two countries and expanded economic ties. Israel also reaffirmed that it would not recognise Kosovo, but hoped the issue would be resolved peacefully.[3]

In October 2009, Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dačić paid a visit to Israel, during which an agreement was signed between the two governments on cooperation in the fight against crime, illegal trade and abuse of narcotics and psychoactive substances, terrorism and other serious criminal acts.[4]
