Mitchell Irving Jr., better known by his stage name Irv Da Phenom is an American rapper and singer from Kansas City, Kansas. He is a fellow collaborator with other local artist Tech N9NE, Kutt Calhoun and Krizz Kaliko. He is signed with Def Metal Gospel and commonly affiliated with Strange Music.

This 16 track CD released in 2005 was Irv Da Phenom's first cd release.Showing his lyrical and vocal skills on this release established him in the local scene, generating an expanding fan base.
After a short hiatus Irv Da Phenom released "American Idol Reject" in 2009. The album consisted of 17 songs featuring record mates Louie 5, Homework Jones Etc. also with a Drop by well known local artist Tech N9NE.
Released October 20, 2009 consisted of 20 songs and featured local artist Big Scoob and Kutt Calhoun. The CD was sold on CDUniverse.com as well as amazon and ITUNES
Released on August 25, 2010 this Album featured 15 songs plus 2 bonus songs,it included local artist Nesto The Owner, B Double E, Clay Hughes, M.A.D, Craig Smith, Greg Enemy and Codak Carter. This album was put up for "FREE" download hence the album title and was a huge summer release in Kansas City.
Released April 26, 2011 consisted of 19 songs and featured artists Bre the 1st Lady, DJ Chill, Cash Image, B Double E (B.E.E), Homework Jones, Big Scoob, Mac Lethal, Saigon, Brotha Lynch Hung and Krizz Kaliko. The Single "Red And Yellow Feat. Cash Image and B.E.E was a YouTube sensation currently at 661,011 views was also featured on NBC Action News. The video had appearances from Krizz Kaliko, Stevie Stone, Big Scoob, Tech N9NE, E-40, and Makzilla.

A group that consisted of local artists Irv Da Phenom, Black Da Kid, C Mills, Lil Bruh, Louie 5 (Louie V), Homework Jones, J Gotti, and Mahry. The group put out a studio album entitled "Highly Anticipated" in 2008 with 19 songs, Currently no word about another project.
