Iraq–Palestine relations
Relations between neighbours Iraq and Palestinians have historically been close. Iraq and Palestine were created after the First World War from former Ottoman dominions by way of a secret bilateral agreement between Britain and France. Palestine has an embassy and Consulate in both of Baghdad and Arbil, but Iraq doesn't have an embassy in Palestinian Territories.[1]
