Ira B. Bradford

Ira B. Bradford was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Bradford was born on June 24, 1851 in Fulton, Wisconsin.[1] In 1873, he was admitted to the bar in Monroe, Wisconsin and took up residence in Augusta, Wisconsin.[2] He was married to Allie M. Burnham. They had two children.

Political career

Bradford was elected to the Assembly in 1880 and was re-elected in 1881. During his second term, he served as Speaker of the Assembly. Following his time in the Assembly, he was elected the first Mayor of Augusta, where he was also Village Attorney. In 1902, he was again elected to the Assembly. Bradford was a Republican.[3]
