Involuticeras: a perisphinctacean ammonite belonging to the Aulacostephanininae from the Upper Jurassic of Europe and possibly Mexico. Shell involute, moderately compressed,venter rounded, ribbed. Similar in general form to Aulacostephanus and Epicephalites
