Interchannel (株式会社インターチャネル Kabushiki Gaisha Intāchaneru) is a Japanese game developer and publisher. Previously known as NEC Interchannel and before that NEC Avenue[1], it was originally a subsidiary of NEC before 70 percent of the company was sold to Index Corporation for approximately 3 billion yen ($28 million) in 2004.[2] Interchannel's games tend to be Japanese only, however the company has recently established Gamebridge Ltd. a UK-based joint venture with Bergsala, to publish its games in Europe.[3]
