The Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDAE and in English, Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy) is a public company attached to the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce through the General Secretariat of Energy.
IDEA's mission is to promote energy efficiency and the rational use of energy in Spain, as well as diversification of energy sources and the promotion of renewable energy.
