The Institute of technology and management(प्रौद्योगिकी एवं प्रबंधन संस्थान, ग्वालियर) (popularly known as ITM Universe, Gwalior) is an engineering and technology-oriented college located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in India. An institute of higher learning, ITM has AICTE approved undergraduate and postgraduate programs.The institute is academically affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal for conducting examinations and awarding degrees. It was established in 1997, originally as ITM-GOC. It is one of the major colleges of M.P. affiliated to State Technological University, seeking university status. ITM is located on sprawling area of more than 125 acres along green hills of Vindhyachal ranges and at a highly visible site on National Highway No. 75. The Highway is planned to be a four way express lane connecting the North to the South of India. Indian Railways main tracks to Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Indore, Pune etc.It is situated in the Historical city of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. Each branch has its own building and laboratories and each department has their own libraries and computer facilities. The campus has an auditorium, open air amphitheater, on-campus Nursing home and a 24 hour functional OPD, a library, a canteen, a gymnasium, Badminton and basketball courts, T-T arrangements, State Bank of India ATM, a post office, an STD/ISD phone booth, and a co-operative store. The Sitouli railway station is adjacent to the campus. Passenger and express trains do travel on regular intervals between Sithouli and Gwalior station. The other means of transportation from Gwalior station to the campus are local taxis which has many private hostels on their way.
Professor's quarters and hostels are present on campus. Boys’ hostel is located within the campus of the institute. The hostel is well equipped with basic recreation & indoor sports facilities that provide students with homely atmosphere to strengthen the feeling of belonging. A semimechanised and hygienic mess & dinning facility accommodating 600 persons at a time is situated for fooding of the hosteler.
KRONOS-ITM student life includes the annual Youth festival KRONOS, is a four day National level techno-cultural fest organised by the Student's Activity Council of ITM Universe (which consists of members from all the technical and cultural clubs). Started in 2010, KRONOS is held in the month of March or April. It has technical events (in collaboration with by the ISOI, CSI, IETE and ISTE Student Chapters) and cultural events.Teams from ITM and other colleges participate to win prizes in various events during the festival. The main attractions are performances by National and International Bands,Dance and Music. The festival spans 4 days.
Celebrations-is a four day festival organized every year in March. Intra college teams participate to win prizes during the event. The main attractions are Dance-Nite and Core-Nite.
National Students Convention- NSC is held in association with Computer society of India and ISTE(CS and EC department)
ITM has a very unique & distinctive character of its campus and perceived by all as hub of creative expressions in special areas of paintings, sculptures, various classical & folk dance forms, Indian classical & popular music, western classical & rock music, world cinema, photography & theater.
