Innova discs

Innova is a company founded in 1983 to produce equipment for the growing number of disc golf players. In that year, Dave Dunipace created the world's first disc designed specifically for the sport of disc golf. That first disc, the Eagle -- U.S. Patent # 4,568,297, established Innova as the technological pacesetter in Disc Golf.[1] Innova discs are used by top professionals. Twelve-time world champion Ken Climo endorses and uses Innova Discs.[2]

Innova not only manufactures discs, they also produce a range of disc golfing equipment including bags, accessories, and their DISCatcher targets which were introduced in 1995.[3] Their 60+ golf discs are manufactured using various molds and plastics. Innova manufactures discs in four distinct lines of plastic. Each plastic offers unique flight characteristics and advantages to match the various needs of throwers and the diverse environments encountered on different disc golf courses. Star Line Plastic offers high performance, durability and great grip. Innova's Champion Line plastic provides excellent durability. Pro Line plastic enhances grip and offers increased glide in flight. The DX plastic is available in the widest variety of disc models and weights, plus it is offered at an economical price.[4]
