Synopsis

In this 25-episode drama, Tiffany Leong plays the vengeful Jian Shu Man who wanted revenge for her parents death. Shu Man had a tough childhood growing up with a mentally-ill mother amid hardship and poverty after witnessing her father's tragic death from a fall which is believed to be caused by Zhao Shi Lin, Zhao Yu Fan's father. She hated Zhao Shi Lin for causing her mother death in a car accident.

Shu Man’s good friend Zhao Yu Tian, played by Chris Tong, is Zhao Shi Lin's daughter. Complicating matters further; love triangle happens between Shu Man, Yu Tian and her best friend Shun Yuan (Zzen Zhang).

Zhao Yu Fan (William San) is a very reckless and ambitious person who is the 2nd child of Shi Lin whose relationship with Shi Lin is strained because the father favours the elder son, Yu Sen (Alan Yun). Yu Fan met with Shu Man and eventually he fell in love with her. Shu Man later agrees to marry him so that she can have revenge on the Zhao family.

Shu Man gets intense with her plans to revenge on Zhao family. She killed Rebecca by pushing her to death in an old building and she did everything to hide her identity as a murderer with Zheng Hao's help. She sabotages Zhao Ming; the Zhao family's tea company and even planned her own kidnapping with Zheng Hao (Wee Kheng Ming). The poor Zheng Hao got killed in an accident because Shu Man sabotaged his car brakes. Meanwhile Zhao Shi Lin had a serious stroke attack. He becomes paralyzed after the incident. By then, Mrs Zhao, who is the wife of Zhao Shi Lin suspected that it is all Shu Man's plans to have revenge on the Zhao's family. She told it to Yu Tian but the both of them could not do anything as Yu Fan still places his trust on Shu Man.

Until one day, Yu Tian and her mother brought the paralyzed Zhao Shi Lin to the park. Shu Man took away Zhao Shi Lin and pushed him to the road. Mrs. Zhao realised her husband was missing and quickly looked for him. Then, she saw that her husband is on danger and she quickly rush to save him; only ended to be knocked down by a car causing her death.
