InfoQuest is the National level technical symposium organized by Computer Science and Information Technology Association (CSITA) of Government College of Technology, Coimbatore (GCT), Coimbatore, India[1]. The function is held at GCT auditorium.

This is a two day Technical festival.Students from various colleges all over India can participate.Infoquest normally happens around February every year[2].This Technofest contains Technical contests and other such activities in day time and Cultural Programmes such as Dance and Music in the evening. The cultural festival attracts many talents from local as well as other colleges in Coimbatore. Accommodation and Food are provided for Guests who are coming from far places from Coimbatore.
The technical papers from various college students are reviewed by a student committee and then shortlisted.
The high level review committee of professors and research scholars select around 7-10 papers for final presentation in the auditorium.[3]
This involves programming for a given problem or algorithm within a given time.
The contest is mostly based on C, C++ or Java.
The contest is held at Computer Science and Information Technology lab.
The software can be submitted to the committee on earlier date, the shortlisted participants can then present their software in the auditorium to the audience [3].
The software should not be pirated software.
This contest is the most enjoyable contest as it involves the human creativity in selling a product or what so ever.
General Quiz is another highlight event because of the prize money as well as the cheering crowd.
This is a mock interview contest to improve the student's confidence level in attending interviews. There are more events like business planning, online treasure hunt (kind of web search contest), etc.[4].
