Indiranagar (Kannada: ಇಂದಿರಾನಗರ) is a suburb of Bangalore. The blue collar population of the city resides alongside the State's politicians, sports persons, celebrities and according to many surveys, Indiranagar is the costliest place to live in Bangalore. It is a very high value area, with steep real estate prices and relatively new, booming commercial roads such as 100 feet road and CMH Road. It is located to the East of Bangalore. English, Hindi and Kannada are the languages spoken by people of Indiranagar. It is located about 4 km east of M G Road.

The small but affluent "Defence Colony" with its large bungalows, and neat tree-lined lanes is located along this stretch. Indiranagar is now slowly transforming into an important commercial hub, with a lot of small and medium sized companies setting shop here. Quite a few of the old houses have given way to apartment buildings and shops, particularly on the eastern stretch of CMH Road between 80 Feet Road and 100 Feet Road.

The areas around CMH Road and 100 feet road are considered commercially high value with respect to real estate. Unfortunately, this has translated into several old bungalows vanishing, making way for multi-storey apartments and/or commercial shopping complexes that often violate BBMP (local corporation) building laws. The benefits are, notably, increased land value which had helped retain some of the older (read:genteel) inhabitants who rub shoulders with the nouveau-riche and the non-civic minded.

The Reach I of the Namma Metro which was inaugurated on 20 October 2011[1] passes through Indiranagar.
