Indhar is a clan of Bhati Rajputs which migrated from Jaisalmer in India over three hundred years ago. The tribe is now scattered in various parts of Sindh and Bahawalpur. The tribe claims descent from Rai Indhar, who was a Bhati Rajput from Jaisalmer. Indhars are a sub-branch of the powerful Bhati Rajputs and are related to Samma clans such as the Mungrani, Kehar, Odho, Sarki, Bhootani, Pechoho, Unar, Khuhro, Bhayo, Junejo, and Phulpoto, because of their Chandravanshi lineage.
