Heritage and origin
Illuminas' heritage stretches back over 20 years. In the UK, the company developed from the merger of two research agencies: Hauck Research with a heritage in qualitative brand development and innovation, and DVL Smith Ltd with a heritage in quantitative research and business strategy. In the US, Momentum Research Group of Austin Texas became part of Illuminas in 2004 and the New York office opened in 2005. Illuminas APAC started with the opening of the Hong Kong office in 2005, followed shortly after by Shanghai.
EMEA
The London Office has worked with over 25 FTSE 100 Companies as well as global brands based overseas. The London Office specialises in strategic marketing research, particularly Brand strategy and positioning, Innovation, Market segmentation, Channel and pricing strategy, Advertising and communication, Category management and Campaign and promotional measures. Their sector expertise includes financial, energy, food and drink, b2b, telecoms, child and youth, government and retail. From London they coordinate research projects across Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as globally. Americas
Illuminas offices in North America provide research expertise for Fortune 500 clients in sectors from media to luxury goods, consumer products to financial services and technology to telecoms. They provide both market and executional expertise for studies encompassing North, South and Central America. The New York team brings together research professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including client-side marketing, public policy, social sciences, advertising, journalism and the arts. Illuminas researchers in the region are highly skilled—with an average of 8–10 years experience.
