Biography

Illogic began in the Columbus, Ohio hip hop scene when at the young age of 16 he claimed the 1996 Columbus Hip Hop Expo MC battle, surrounded by what would come to be the core of the emerging "bustown" sound. He released his debut in 1998 on Weightless Recordings, Unforeseen Shadows. The release was produced entirely by Blueprint and both Blueprint and Dose One, among others, featured on the album.

Years later Illogic has shared the stage with Rakim, Casual, Psalm One, Atmosphere, Eyedea, Brother Ali, The Roots, Common, One Be Lo, Modill, Royce Da 5'9', and many other nationally recognized acts.

He released his fourth album, Diabolical Fun, on March 24, 2009 on Weightless Recordings accompanied by Ill Poetic.
