Ihor Ilyushyn (born 23 April 1961 in Dnipropetrovsk) is a Ukrainian historian and professor of the Kiev Slavonic University.
Ilyushyn is a graduate of the University of Kiev (1988) and doctor of historical sciences (2003). Since 2004, he directs the Department of International Relations in Kiev Slavonic University. In the period 1997-2005 he was a member of the working group at the Ukrainian Government Commission for examination and evaluation of the activities of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and Ukrainian Insurgent Army. In the period 2002-2003 was a member of a team of experts of the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine, for conducting additional research of Massacres of Poles in Volhynia.[1]
Ilyushyn's works were published in Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, France, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, and USA.
