Igor Diogo Moreira Araújo (born 4 February 1987 in Felgueiras, Portugal) is a Portuguese footballer currently playing in the Liga de Honra for SC Covilhã as a Goalkeeper wearing the number 1 shirt for the club. Igor Araújo started his career off with Portuguese giants FC Porto as a youth player in the B team but in 2006 SC Covilhã signed him and became a professional footballer were since joining SC Covilhã he is currently the first choice keeper. In 2008 he one promotion with SC Covilhã to the Liga de Honra were the club have secured themselves for another season in the division and were he has had over 75 appearances for the club with only such so short time at the club.[1]
