Ichthyoelephas is a genus of freshwater fish from the family Prochilodontidae.[1] There are two species in the genus: I. humeralis reaches a length of 24 centimetres (9.4 in) and is found in the Santiago and Guayas river basins in Ecuador,[1] and I. longirostris reaches a length of 80 centimetres (31 in) and is found in the Cauca and Magdalena river basins in Colombia.[1]
