Iceland competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan from October 11, 1964 to October 24, 1964.[1] Four athletes, Valbjörn Þorláksson, Jón Ólafsson, Gudmunður Gíslason and Hrafnhildur Guðmundsdóttir competed in the decathlon,[2] high jump[3] and swimming[4] events repspectively. They however, they did not finish with any medals.
