INDEP

INDEP - Indústrias Nacionais de Defesa, EP (Defense National Industries, Public Corporation), originally Fábrica do Braço de Prata (Braço de Prata Factory), is a defense industry company owned by the Portuguese Government. It produced several types of small arms, including a Portuguese version of the Heckler & Koch G3 (Espingarda m/961) widely used in the 13-years-long Portuguese Colonial War (1961-1974).
