The IF-boat (previously International Folkboat[1]) is a sailboat class.
The IF-boat has a reputation as a strong sailor, at ease in any force of wind. Its overall length is 7.87 metres for a waterline length of 6.03 metres. It was built by Swedish yard Marieholms Bruk from 1967 to the early 1980s (1984[2]); some 3600 boats were built.
It was designed by Tord Sundén (who had previously taken part in the design of the Nordic Folkboat).
