Single father Bob Holcomb (Hope), is unhappy with his daughter JoJo's (Weld) choice of a husband-to-be, so he takes her on a trip to Sweden to distract her about her fiancee. Sweden turns out to be far more liberal sexually than the United States, so he starts thinking that marriage might not be too bad an idea after all. Comedic antics ensue.

“ | The picture is an altogether asinine little romp... Nothing can save this tattered, old-fashioned dip.[3] | ” |
