Writing about the debut self-titled album, critic Vish Khanna said the music "is rooted in country tones, but stands apart because of its unique amalgamation of rock riffage and pop finesse."[4] In a positive review, Graham Rockingham called it "[k]ing-size riff rock with a rootsy edge from a Hamilton band that's screaming to be heard."[5]
