HungryKids aka HungryKids.org is a not for profit grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness for world hunger and poverty relief.
An official partner of the United Nations World Food Programme, they are an "informational charity" as they do not collect money but promote awareness for the issues of hunger and poverty. They exclusively target young adults. Founded by internet entrepreneur Brad Hines, their mission is support of the UNWFP's goal to end child hunger world wide by the year 2015.
"Young adults are a lot more concerned with global issues than people suspect"[1]
-founder Brad Hines
The organization is known for skiping over traditional campus recruiting and working exclusively online to raise awareness. HungryKids has no centralized headquarters, and employees all of its volunteers from around the world to work remotely over the internet.
