Hugh Mendes

Hugh Mendes is a contemporary artist born in 1955, educated at Chelsea School of Art and City and Guilds of London Art School. He is known for his paintings of obituaries taken from newspapers.^[1] He has had solo exhibitions at Fishmarket Gallery, Northampton,^[2] Sartorial Contemporary Art London and at Gallery Brauchbachfive in Frankfurt. He was exhibited in "The Future can Wait" in 2008 ^[3]
