Hugh Kerr Anderson

Hugh Kerr Anderson FRS (6 July 1865 - 2 November 1928) was a British physiologist, and educator.

He served as Master of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge 1912 to 1928.[1] He was the Chairman of the Cambridge University Press in 1918. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society, in 1907. A monument to him is in the Gonville and Caius College Chapel.[2]

He is buried at Ascension Parish Burial Ground, Cambridge.[3] His papers are held at Janus Library, Cambridge.[4]

He is depicted as a character in the film Chariots of Fire.[5]
