Howell de Francis was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s and '10s who at representative level played for Wales, and at club level for Wigan, playing at Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums.[1]

Howell de Francis won a cap for Wales while at Wigan in 1908 against New Zealand, and in 1909 against England.[2]
