Hollingen is a village in the municipality of Aukra in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located along the Julsund on the Romsdal peninsula about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northwest of the city of Molde. The village is located on the small part of Aukra that is located on the mainland.
The 0.25-square-kilometre (62-acre) village has a population (2009) of 260. This gives it a population density of 1,040 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,700 /sq mi).[1] The village has ferry service across the Julsund to the village of Aukrasanden on the main island of Gossa. [3]
