Hipperholme is a village in the Calderdale area of West Yorkshire, England, located between the towns of Halifax and Brighouse. It is located on the busy A58 road and includes Hipperholme Grammar School, a local private school.

Hipperholme, a thriving village with many local shops, is home to several pubs including the Whitehall, the Traveller's Rest, the Country House, the Hare and Hounds, the White Horse and, more recently, the Halifax Steam Brewery with Cock O' The North Bar.

Lightcliffe is a village adjacent to Hipperholme, so close that the boundary between the two is blurred. Some regard the boundary as being at the doctors' surgery, where addresses change from Lightcliffe to Hipperholme. The local state primary schools are Lightcliffe Church of England School and Cliffe Hill School. Secondary schools are Hipperholme Grammar School (private) and Hipperholme and Lightcliffe High School and Sports College (State) (formerly Eastfield Secondary Modern School until 1985), which is in Lightcliffe.

Hipperholme stands at a crossroads, which makes travel easy. There are frequent bus routes from Hipperholme to Halifax, Brighouse, Leeds and Bradford. The Halifax rail line runs through Hipperholme and Lightcliffe, though neither village has a station.

Hipperholme and Lightcliffe's social institutions include the Old Brodleans Rugby Club, the Masonic Hall, Lightcliffe Golf Club and the Conservative Club.

The village's major employer is Crosslee plc, based on the site of the former Philips electrical factory.
