High-C

High-C is the nerdcore rap persona of Jason Z. Christie (born in 1970). The persona was created in 1988. As founder of the Rhyme Torrents[1] nerdcore hip-hop compilation project and nerdcorehiphop.org, High-C was often found at the center of the nerdcore scene, and was the biggest early promoter of the genre.

He also brought[2] some fifteen nerdcore artists to perform at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas[3] for Divx. A producer as well as an MC, High-C produced the track "Nerdcore For Life", the first nerdcore posse track, and also the longest, with thirteen MCs in sixteen minutes.

High-C has also appeared in the film Nerdcore For Life,[4][5] and was cut from the film Nerdcore Rising.[6]
