High Heat Major League Baseball 2003 was the second-to-last of a successful series of baseball computer games, released on PlayStation 2, PC, and Game Boy Advance. There were six versions of the game released, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, featuring Curt Schilling, then of the Arizona Diamondbacks, on the box cover, and 2004. High Heat Major League Baseball 2004, the last in the series, was released in the spring of 2003. With 3DO filing for bankruptcy in May 2003, the 2004 version was left with little support and patches to correct its bugs.

The game, featuring the official licensed team and player names from all 30 MLB teams, was created by games company 3DO, who later filed for bankruptcy in May 2003.
