Higashikagawa (東かがわ市 Higashikagawa-shi ) is a city located in Kagawa, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 36,988 and a population density of 241.45 persons per km². The total area is 153.19 km².
The city was founded on April 1, 2003 and is the merger of three towns from the eastern part of the former Ōkawa District: Hiketa, Ōchi and Shirotori. Ōkawa District was dissolved as a result of the formation of Higashikagawa.
Higashikagawa is famed for its wasanbon production.
