Hemisilurus is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Siluridae. It includes three species, all from Southeast Asia.[2]
Species in this genus have no dorsal fin and only two barbels.[3] Hemisilurus mekongensis, known as Pa nang daeng in the Laotian language (Thai: ปลาดังแดง), is endemic to the Mekong basin.[4]
