Hell Among the Yearlings is the second album by Gillian Welch, released in 1998. All the songs on the album are written by Welch and David Rawlings.[3]

"Hell Among the Yearlings" is a fiddle instrumental from the John Quincy Wolf Folklore Collection performed by Seth Mize in Arkansas. No recording date is given, but other songs in the collection were recorded in the early 1960s.[4]
