According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.0 square miles (18 km2), all of it land.
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 441 people, 149 households, and 118 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 63.2 people per square mile (24.4/km²). There were 157 housing units at an average density of 22.5/sq mi (8.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.29% White, 0.45% African American, 0.91% Native American, 0.23% Asian, 4.31% from other races, and 1.81% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.11% of the population.
There were 149 households out of which 45.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.8% were married couples living together, 3.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.8% were non-families. 17.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.96 and the average family size was 3.31.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 34.7% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 18.1% from 45 to 64, and 8.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 30 years. For every 100 females there were 104.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $38,500, and the median income for a family was $45,000. Males had a median income of $25,469 versus $18,750 for females.
