Henry (Harry) Roberts (1 September 1907 – October 1984) was an English international footballer.

Club career

Roberts played for Barrow Wireworks, R.A.S.C. (Aldershot), Barrow, Chesterfield and Lincoln City before joining Port Vale for £100 in June 1930. He was a first team regular from December 1930 and managed a tally of 11 goals in 26 games before signing for Millwall in April 1931. After a trial with Sheffield Wednesday he moved on to Peterborough United and Spalding United.[1]

International career

Roberts was capped by England in a friendly with Belgium on 16 May 1931, which England won 4–1. He scored one of the goals. He was signed to Millwall at the time.
