Harrison Woodhull Crosby
Harrison Woodhull Crosby of Jamesburg, New Jersey was the first to can tomatoes commercially in 1847.[1] He worked as the chief gardener at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, where he commercialized the canned tomato.
