Demographics

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 179 people, 68 households, and 46 families residing in the village. The population density was 293.6 people per square mile (113.3/km²). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 146.0 per square mile (56.3/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White.

There were 68 households out of which 32.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.9% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.9% were non-families. 26.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.17.

In the village the population was spread out with 32.4% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 19.6% from 25 to 44, 26.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
