History

Formation and Dreams of Water (2010)

On March 31, 2010 Matthew Fazzi and bassist Matthew Rubano announced that they were no longer members of Taking Back Sunday, as the band had decided to reunite with its original line-up, featuring founding member John Nolan and Shaun Cooper, who had originally left the band in 2003 to form Straylight Run after the release of Tell All Your Friends.[3] Soon after, Fazzi recruited former Taking Back Sunday touring guitarist Isaac Bolivar, who played on the band's live albums Live from Bamboozle '09 and Live from Orensanz, and recorded several demos of songs he had written during his tenure with Taking Back Sunday, which were stylistically different than the band's usual material.[4] The band then enlisted Gavin Castleton Trio drummer Eduardo Torres and began work on their debut album, Dreams of Water, with Two Tongues and Saves the Day producer Marc Jacob Hudson in Michigan. The album was released digially through the band's website on September 21, 2010. The band then began touring with Helen Earth Band to promote their record.[5] In late December 2010, Happy Body Slow Brain teamed up with photographer Clay Lancaster to film live performances of "Dreams of Water" in its entirety, and have been gradually releasing them track by track via their YouTube page.

In a recent interview with AbsolutePunk.net, Matthew Fazzi stated that the band has begun writing songs for their next record.[6]
