Hamastegh (also Hamasdegh, Համաստեղ, 1895, Kharpert, Western Armenia, Ottoman Empire - 1966, USA) was a poet and writer of Armenian diaspora.
Hamastegh (Hambardzum Gelenian) was born in village Perjench, near Kharpert, where he spend his childhood. His teacher was famous Tlgadintsi. He lived in Medford, Massachusetts, near Boston USA. Hamastegh's most famous works are "The Village", "Rain" and "First Love".and the White Horseman (Sbidag Tsiavoruh)
